Blencathra
On Sunday 9th August 2009 I 'Alice Bradbury', my brother, two friends along with my dad walked Blencathra. We didn't walk up 'Sharp Edge' we walked up the other side. We still made it to the top and I was the youngest one up there from our group.
On the way back, we went down something that was like 'Sharp Edge' but was a little bit wider and longer. I had a head ache half way, but still got down safe and sound. The dogs showed us the way down and we were on our bums at times. My dad also managed to cut his hand, but he was brave enough to carry on... Just like a man!
The dogs stopped for water at the streams. It was the best experience ever and we all loved the whole day. We were all very tired in the car on the way home after our 6 hour walk.
